YGU History
Yerevan Gladzor University was founded in 1990. It was originally aimed at becoming a worthy successor to historic Gladzor, with a high level of education, high-quality academic-teaching staff, rich educational programs and course syllabi, academic potential, etc.
- During the past 33 years, the University's governing body, the academic-teaching personnel, and administrative staff have been consistently and firmly implementing an educational-academic procedure in compliance with international standards.
- Yerevan Gladzor University's academic-teaching staff is reinforced by well-known specialists in the Republic, specialists with great experience and knowledge. With their efforts, Gladzor has a great reputation today and has a worthy place in the higher education system of the Republic.
- In the autumn of 2005, YGU was awarded the Gold Medal of High Quality in Performance at the 9th International conference - High Quality in Business, in Geneva, as well as a Certificate for cooperation with the Fund Declaration.
